Austin Express

Austin Express Inc. was a regional airline headquartered in Austin, Texas, United States. The airline incorporated on August 13, 1997. It was originally operated by 10 former Conquest Airlines executives. All of the owners and key personnel of Austin Express were formerly employed by Conquest. Conquest hired Bradfield Martino, Austin as the first agency to advertise the airline; a The New York Times article said that the resulting billings were estimated over one million dollars. Its operations began on January 5, 1998, with a fleet of Fairchild Dornier Metro IIIs.
